How many people have you spoken lately that announced big changes, talked about doing things differently or feel that it’s time to re-evaluate certain things in their business?
Probably quit a few. Even though we’re half way through the year, energetically it feels like we just started.
August will be a month with a lot of energy shifts. There are two eclipses and 5 planets turning retrograde this month.
What does this mean for you and your business?

Rock the ’less is more’ concept
Time to re-evaluate where you are, where your business is and what your next step is. The Universe is asking you if you and your business are still on the same page. Or is it time to make some serious shifts?
My suggestion here for you is to practice the less is more principle. Take your time to re-evaluate what the three most important things in your business are. And then compress them to the one thing that’s most important for you. What’s the one thing that’s going to make the biggest difference right now? That’s where your focus needs to be.

Slow down
The planets are slowing down. The energy is facing inwards. It’s a crucial part of life to slow down. We fear slowing down because we think it means that we will stop. This is not true. There is a time for everything. There is a time to plant, there is a time to bloom, and there is a time to harvest. There is a time to rest and renew so the soil will not crumble. It’s impossible to be ’on’ All. The. Time. Being ’on’ all the time will kill you eventually.
Especially if you have a drive for productivity, perfection, achievement and success, slowing down is utterly important and the universe has your back on this, right now.

Allow all your feelings to flow freely
Yes, that can be freaking scaring but just give it a try. Remember feelings are not the same as emotions and emotions only lasts between 2 and 20 minutes. Maybe when you introspect, it can feel as though you are in a personal fall. Try to look at your feelings and emotions as messages from your subconscious self. Don’t drown in them. Learn their language and you will receive a huge gift over and over again.

Shake up the status quo in your community
Aquarius is the sign of co-creation, like-minded groups, humanitarian efforts and uniting (around a higher cause).
The energy of this Moon invites you to have a close look at the community’s your part of. What’s your role? What’s your intention? In what way are your involving like-minded people in your initiatives and in the way you look at things? It’s time to build networks and co-operate. But, mind you step here. Because of the eclipse it might not be really clear for you what it is that you want, or how you want it. That’s the weird thing about eclipses, they’re blocking the light, and you can’t see the bigger picture yet. Give yourself some time to think and feel about it.

Connecting the dots
The eclipses of this month are part of the same family of eclipses that occurred in august 1999 (Saros Series North 1). If you want to know the bigger picture of your life and the meaning of this eclipse. Look back at the year 1999. What kind of year was that for you? If this was a significant year for you, what precisely made it significant for you? What was the read threat? How is that theme popping up in your life again? What are you doing different now? Can you see your own development?

Don’t start new things yet.
The energy is facing inwards. To make a success of the thing you want to start, maybe your next launch, you need positive, outgoing energy that supports your start and your efforts. This is a time where the winds of change are knocking on our doors and miscommunications are likely to occur. Again, pause and reflect. This is a time for anything that begins with ’re’: redo, reassess, repair, repeat, redesign, revisit, rearrange, reevaluate, realign.

This is an impactful month. It’s a time to realign with the Universe, Source energy and your own divine wisdom and power. It’s not a time to follow a script. Eclipses are special kinds of new or full Moons. They happen when the Sun, Moon and Earth are in the exact same line and therefore interact with each other’s light.
With the full Moon (August 7) we have a lunar eclipse. The earth blocks the light of the Moon.
With a new Moon (August 21) we have a solar Eclipse. The Sun’s light is blocked by the Moon.
Each eclipse belongs to a larger group or family of eclipses known as a Saros Series. Therefore eclipses need to be seen on a larger cyclic playing field of life. Think about it as a forest with different kind of trees. Each tree is an eclipse. Together they are the forest.
